What we play by, how calls are handled, and what happens if conduct gets out of hand.
Rule set
OVP events follow all AVP sanctioned rules. The latest AVP rulebook is the reference for any call.
Player reffed
Our events are player reffed. The decision of the player refs is final, assuming they fully and correctly understand the rule behind the call they are making.
Missed calls
Where a ref missed a call and an understanding cannot be met, the tournament director will always advocate for a redo of the play.
Conduct
We want a competitive but friendly environment.
A player who crosses that line gets a warning in the form of a yellow card. If we have to approach that same player again, the tournament director reserves the right to award a red card, which disqualifies that player and their team without a refund.
